    A. If you are moving out of state, start researching potential movers as soon as you know which state you're going to. The more time you have, the less stressful it will be.

  • Q. When should I reserve my move date and time?

    A. Again - the sooner, the better. General rule of thumb is to secure your move date and time 4 weeks in advance, especially during heavy moving season between April and October.

  • Q. How can I get a quote from Milestone Van Lines?

    A. There are 2 basic ways to contact us: via our online form or by calling us at 888.602.5880. Having your inventory ready will significantly speed up the estimate process.

  • Q. Do I need an in-house inventory to get an accurate quote?

    A. Although in-house inventory is very helpful, you can also get an accurate quote by making a thorough list of all of your items, or better yet - by making a video of your belongings with your cell phone, and then uploading it via our Submit a Video feature.

  • Q. Do you have any advice to prepare for my move better?

  • Q. What are your office hours?

    A. Our current office hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

  • Q. What kind of deposit will I need to reserve my move?

    A. Due to complexity and costs associated with long-distance logistics, we require 20% deposit at the time of booking paid by credit card, money order/cashier's check or, in some cases, personal check.

  • Q. I need to cancel my move. Will I lose my deposit?

    A. If you cancel within 7 days of your move or earlier, your deposit will be fully refunded with no cancellation fees whatsoever.

  • Q. What payments do you accept?

    A. Payment for our moving services is broken down into 3 parts:

          - Reservation: 20%, payable by credit/debit card, money order/cashier's check or, in some cases, personal check.

          - At time of pick up: 30%, payable by credit/debit card or money order/cashier's check. No personal checks please.

          - At time of delivery: 50%. payable by credit/debit card or money order/cashier's check. No personal checks please.
